St Mirren defender Sean Rooney has been charged with assaulting a girl and breaching the peace on a person in a takeaway store in Glasgow metropolis centre.
The Scottish Premiership introduced on Thursday that the 28-year-old had been suspended “precautionally” after reporting the incident to his boss.
